Hi:
I never have visited this website, I think it is a useful tool for learning
(obviously), in particular I read the page tab : "The English we
speak", an article shows a pdf archive, an audio, and I only read the
dialogue, it called my attention because the photograph was a woman running and
I usually run about six or eight kilometers at two times in a week
but by streets of my district. So, this conversation is between two women, and
one of them do not understood an expression: 'fitness freak', and she took it
like an insult, then the other girl explained what this expression means obsessed by sport and
fitness, because in English you can use the word 'freak' with a noun to say
that someone is obsessed by something which you think is strange. I get it funny.
Well, in addition this website has a lot of
videos, interesting and funny news, I think
it is ideal because, it is easier to learn reading funny and
interesting histories or dialogues, than
studying a lot of grammar.
