Montaña Vieja

Last Year, in September, I traveled for the first time to Cuzco,  beautiful city.
I have traveled with my sister for a week,  I have always wanted to visit Machu Picchu, I think my age was perfect   to do this trip, I mean in order  to enjoy  the majestic of the Incas city  as much as possible, Cuzco is a nice colonial city, there are wonderful churches, lots of places for good food, the night life is so beautiful, It’s a good idea to visit “El Barrio de San Blas” . The third day, we went to Machu Picchu,  I couldn’t believe that, It’s a huge and wonderful place.

The trip to Machu Picchu is also very beautiful (include a train trip),  we arrived to a nice  small town called “Aguas  Calientes”, the weather is warm, and wet, this town is a side of a big river, “The Urubamba River”, between huge mountains, I couldn’t believe that Machu Picchu was at the top of one of those mountains, from Aguas Calientes, we had to take a bus, that climbed slowly from side to side a very big mountain, from the top, the Urubamba River looked tiny. In Machu Picchu, it was plenty of tourists, from all over the world,  my pictures say by itself,  It’s a mystic place, the energy you feel is incredible,  I love that place, actually, I would like to go back when ever its possible.
However, in Cuzco there are also more beautiful and historical places to see, you can visit Sacsayhuaman, Ollantaytambo, Pisaq, Chincheros, etc. September is the best time to visit this place because of its weather.

P.S : Macchu Pichu, comes from a Quechua phrase meaning   ¨Montaña Vieja¨.

An interesting country

Hi :
I want to write about a country which has called always my attention.
My mother has traveled to Cuba for vacations three weeks ago, I remember the first thing I told to my mother, “bring me a Bongo please”. This is a beautiful instrument that has a nice sound and I would like to learn how to play it someday.
When my mother came back from Cuba, she told me everything about her trip; La Habana, is a city where the time seems to has stopped, It’s a colonial and lovely city, there are lots of really good musicians, the people are very friendly and handsome  men, well, this what mom said. The Cuban citizens are not really free, for example they can not leave their country easily as we do, however, they have health and education for free, this is really valuable, Cubans could be good professionals, but unfortunately salaries are too bad, only tourism is the way they have to increase their economy.

Cuba has 15 tv channels, and they offer only cultural information, which is really good, but they also give bad information about USA.
Athough Cubans way of living is so extreme, basic needs are free, and for everybody, on the other hand USA, I think that health service is not free and its very expensive, their economy is strong but there are some things that need to be solved, for example freedom is that much that children can do sometimes what is supposed to be done by adults, and people make money easily but they spend it easily too, I think a middle point between Cuba and USA could be the best.
Finally, Cubans beaches are very beautiful, It’s the best place for vacations.
Bye

Only learn

I should to say what I have a lot of ambitions, i would  like have much time  for achieve all them.  Since when I was a child, I loved the music. I began playing a small toy piano. At the beginning, I used just my instinct for playing songs, later I took piano lessons, and I learned some of musical theory, I participated in some competitions. But formally, I never studied  at  piano school.
So this is my ambition, I will like take piano lessons, I think this is a beautiful instrument, and who knows!!! maybe one day I could be a piano concertist. During the university life, it is a little difficult at least in my career, to have the enough time for taking  lessons. This hobby did not arise  about a particular inspiration, just it borned since I had this tiny piano between my hands. Then  music, in particular classical music because of  its beauty, it made  me to want to play it some day. Really the piano is not the unique instrument what I love, I play my guitar eight years ago, but I need to practice a lot. When I achieved this ambition, I will be ready for buy my first large piano, and then I could die in peace XD. No, but at least, I could be satisfied, although I have a pending of  ambitions list .
Bye bye

Favorite book

Hi guys,

Today I will write about  my favorite book el Paraíso en la otra esquina, the author is a peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, I read this book  four years ago, I have read others titles from this author, so I wanted know more books from him. Particulary this author has a broad vocabulary, so  i like his books besides all his titles are distinct, and it has differents themes.

The "Paraiso en la otra esquina" contrast Paul Gauguin and Flora Tristan´s lifes, and although they are totally differents persons, they have family bonds, she is his grandmother. This woman (french feminist from peruvian lineage) is a fighther of womans´s prerogatives, who has had hard experiences, and Gauguin a brillant famous painter who has a  bohemian and chaotic life. Their histories, have in common they are looking for a paradise. I absolutely recommend this book, because it gives us two interesting and intense histories.
Bye bye
